The schooling landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is at the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school product is not the only helpful means of studying. Their NCV programmes are created for students who would like to start their journey towards a fulfilling job early on.
CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Division for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, about their different courses.
False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are supplied at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year period.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites
These courses get started at NCV level 2 and also the least need would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.
As soon as the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they'd then have attained a grade ten certification. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade 12.
NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, staying comparable to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).
Grade nine is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV amount two that is equivalent to an NQF level 2.
